There was a time in my life when everything felt uncertain.

As I waited for a kidney and liver transplant, I didn’t know what the future would hold. Like so many people facing life’s biggest challenges, I searched for hope wherever I could find it.

Then something beautiful began to happen.

I started finding feathers and pennies in the most unexpected places. A feather on the ground when I needed reassurance. A penny appearing just when I was feeling overwhelmed. They may have seemed like coincidences to someone else, but to me, they became quiet reminders that I wasn’t alone—that the universe was gently telling me to keep going, to trust the journey, and to believe that everything would be okay.

Those simple moments changed me forever.

They taught me that hope often arrives in the smallest ways. That even when life doesn’t make sense, there is purpose in the waiting. That what is meant for us will find us, often in ways we never expect. Most importantly, they taught me to have faith.

When I received my transplant, I carried those lessons with me. They became the foundation of a new way of living—one built on gratitude, intention, and trust.
